Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, who we give it to, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
The short answer
We collect your name, phone number and email when you fill in a form — and we share them with the developer of the project you enquire about. That sharing is the entire point of the enquiry, and it is why we ask for your consent before you submit.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing contactus@apartmentsforsale.in, and we will delete your data. Everything below is the detail.
Effective 12 July 2026. This policy is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Who we are
apartmentsforsale.in (operated by Alphazag) is a real estate information platform. We publish RERA-sourced information about residential projects in India and connect prospective buyers with developers.
For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we are the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data we collect through this website. You are the Data Principal.

2. What personal data we collect
Data you give us
When you complete an enquiry form on this site, we collect:
- Name — mandatory
- Phone number, including country code — mandatory
- Email address — mandatory
- Message — optional, and entirely your choice what to put in it
Data collected automatically
- IP address — used to rate-limit the form and to record where consent was given from
- Page URL and referring page — so we know which enquiry relates to which project
- Timestamp of your submission and of your consent
- Browser and device information via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, passwords, or any financial information. No legitimate enquiry needs them.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health, religion, caste, sexual orientation or biometric data. If you volunteer such information in the free-text message box, please don't — we have no use for it and would rather not hold it.
3. Why we collect it — the purpose
Under the DPDP Act we must tell you the specific purpose, and we may only use your data for that purpose. Ours is narrow:
- To respond to your enquiry. To call, WhatsApp or email you with the information you asked for.
- To connect you with the developer of the project you enquired about, or their authorised channel partner, so that they can respond to you directly. This is the core purpose of the enquiry.
- To improve the site. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics — which pages get read, which don't.
- To meet legal obligations and to maintain a record of your consent, as the DPDP Act requires us to.
We do not use your data for anything else. We do not sell it. We do not build advertising profiles from it.
4. Consent — and how to withdraw it
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the enquiry form. That box is never pre-ticked, because a pre-ticked box is not consent.
We keep a record of what you agreed to and when, because the DPDP Act requires a Data Fiduciary to be able to demonstrate that consent was given.
Email contactus@apartmentsforsale.in with the words “withdraw consent” and the phone number or email you used. That is all that is required.
On receipt we will stop processing your data and delete it, ordinarily within 7 working days. We will confirm when it is done.
Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it. If you find it isn't, tell us — that would be a failing on our part.
One honest limitation: if we have already shared your details with a developer, we can delete our copy but we cannot delete theirs. They become an independent Data Fiduciary in respect of that data. We will tell you who we shared it with, so you can ask them directly. See section 5.
5. Who we share your data with
| Who | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The developer of the project you enquired about, or their authorised channel partner | Name, phone, email, your message | So they can respond to your enquiry. This is the purpose of the enquiry. |
| Our hosting provider (Hostinger) | Data stored on their servers | They host the website and the mailbox. They act as a Data Processor on our instructions. |
| Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) | Browsing behaviour, IP, device data | Site analytics. Configured with IP anonymisation. |
| Legal or regulatory authorities | Whatever is lawfully demanded | Only where we are required by law to disclose it. |
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with developers whose projects you did not enquire about.
When you enquire about a project, we pass your details to that project's developer. That is not a side effect — it is the service. They will contact you.
If you would rather not be contacted by a developer, please don't submit the form. WhatsApp us on +91 97111 14867 instead and ask your question there, and we will answer it without passing your details on.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics. These set cookies that help us understand which pages are read and how people move through the site.
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks on this site.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site works without them; only our analytics suffers, which is our problem and not yours.
7. How long we keep your data
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiry details (name, phone, email, message) | 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted |
| Consent record (what you agreed to, when, from which IP) | 24 months, or as long as required to demonstrate compliance |
| Analytics data | As per Google Analytics retention settings, currently 14 months |
| Anything you ask us to delete | Deleted on request, ordinarily within 7 working days |
The DPDP Act requires that personal data be erased once the purpose is served. If you tell us your enquiry is closed, we will delete your data without waiting 24 months.
8. Your rights under the DPDP Act
As a Data Principal you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, email contactus@apartmentsforsale.in.
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Right to access | Ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, and of who we have shared it with. |
| Right to correction | Ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything incomplete. |
| Right to erasure | Ask us to delete your personal data. We will, unless we are legally required to retain it. |
| Right to withdraw consent | At any time, for any reason, without giving one. See section 4. |
| Right to grievance redressal | Complain to us, and get a response. See section 11. |
| Right to nominate | Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. |
We will respond to any of these requests within 7 working days, and in any case within the period the law requires.
9. Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
The DPDP Act prohibits processing a child's personal data without verifiable parental consent, and prohibits tracking or behavioural advertising directed at children. If we learn that we hold data belonging to someone under 18, we will delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable security safeguards, as the DPDP Act requires:
- The site is served over HTTPS.
- Enquiry data is transmitted to our own server, not to a third-party form service.
- The lead store is not accessible over the web.
- Access to the mailbox and the server is restricted and password-protected.
- We collect the minimum data needed to answer your enquiry, and nothing more. Data you never gave us cannot be breached.
No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as the DPDP Act requires.
11. Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, write to our Grievance Officer:
| contactus@apartmentsforsale.in | |
| Subject line | Grievance — Personal Data |
| We will acknowledge within | 48 hours |
| We will resolve within | 30 days |
If we do not resolve your grievance to your satisfaction, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we change it materially — particularly anything about what we collect or who we share it with — we will update the effective date at the top and, where we hold your contact details and the change affects you, tell you directly.
We will not quietly broaden the purposes for which we use data you have already given us. If we want to use it for something new, we will ask you again.
Frequently asked questions
Will a builder call me if I fill in the form?
Yes. That is the purpose of the enquiry — we pass your details to the developer of the project you asked about, or their authorised channel partner, so they can respond to you. If you would rather not be contacted by a developer, don't submit the form; WhatsApp us on +91 97111 14867 instead and we'll answer your question without passing your details on.
How do I get my data deleted?
Email contactus@apartmentsforsale.in with the words "withdraw consent" and the phone number or email you used. We will stop processing your data and delete it, ordinarily within 7 working days, and confirm when it's done. You don't need to give a reason.
Do you sell my data?
No. We share it only with the developer of the project you enquired about, with our hosting provider, and with Google Analytics. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with developers whose projects you didn't ask about, and we do not run advertising or retargeting networks on this site.
What happens to my data after the developer has it?
They become an independent Data Fiduciary in respect of that copy. We can delete our copy on request but we cannot delete theirs. We will tell you who we shared it with so you can make the request directly to them.
Do you use cookies?
Yes — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, for site analytics. We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or third-party ad networks. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.
How long do you keep my data?
24 months from your last interaction, then it's deleted. If you tell us your enquiry is closed, we'll delete it sooner. If you ask us to delete it, we'll do that within 7 working days.
